Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
Acceptance
By using Keed, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Description of service
Keed is a mobile application that allows parents to control and monitor their children's YouTube video watching by curating approved channels and setting daily time limits.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are a parent or legal guardian of any children for whom you create profiles.
User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You may delete your account at any time through the parent dashboard.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to bypass time limits or parental controls
- Use the app to access inappropriate content
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the app
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Parental responsibility
Keed provides tools to help manage screen time and content, but it is not a substitute for parental supervision. You are solely responsible for monitoring your children's app usage and ensuring the content they access is age-appropriate. Keed makes a best-effort attempt to filter content through channel-level curation but cannot guarantee that every video from an approved channel is suitable.
YouTube content
Keed interfaces with YouTube's Data API and Web Player. All video content is hosted by and subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. Keed does not host, modify, or control YouTube video content. We use channel-level allowlisting to determine which content is accessible, but individual video content may vary within a channel.
Intellectual property
The Keed name, logo, and app design are our intellectual property. You may not use them without permission. The app itself is licensed, not sold, to you.
Limitation of liability
Keed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it within the app or contacting us.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
